"Spacious, clean, and dripping with old time atmosphere and charm. We are Christians, and not believers in ghosts, but our bed was moving about 10 times one night!! The floor was not moving, the bed was not against the wall, we had not been drinking nor out on the water, and nobody else seemed to notice anything. It was very strange, but seemed to add to the ambience of the experience at First Colony. An oasis by the sea!"

"Its so Beautiful, location is right next to the beach but not too close, the rooms are really antique and neat, tidy setup. The landscaping is awsome, outside furniture is pretty. There are huge green lawns around the property. I even saw rabbits in the morning. They offer great buffet in the morning and wine, cheese, crackers in the evening. The entire place is run by women and it makes a difference. If you pay attention to details...you realise hiw much effort these people have put in into this place. I had a very good experience and I am leaving with good memories. Will come back here for sure with friends and family."

"Beautiful! Not right on the beach but a two min walk from the beach. The rooms are super cute with a historic setting rather than the generic hotel rooms most places have. The bed was super comfortable and bathroom clean. Would have stayed longer, but they were completely booked, and i can see why :D"
