"Unexpected enjoyment - Very much enjoyed my stay. It was an unexpected business stop and the staff was very helpful in accommodating me. Hotel has a more homey atmosphere than a chain hotel. It will be my first choice when I return, plus it is close to good restaurants and stores."

"About the most pleasant hotel stay ever. Always wanted to stay, we needed a hotel room for a couple of days...a week would have been better. The history and charm of the place appealed to us in a big way. The pace of life slowed down and we actually felt like we belonged. Very solid and emotionally rewarding two days.

"The staff here is very friendly. The hot breakfast and afternoon tea is delicious. They provide beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas which is very convient. The rooms are very well kept and clean. Overall this in is wonderful and well worth it. I would definitely stay here again."

"This place is as cute and charming as it's photos show. My room was great for my stay (also cute and charming), though the king sized mattress was far too soft. The morning complimentary breakfasts were yummy, though sometimes low on vegetarian options (other than bread and yogurt). The grounds have lovely mini gardens, a swimming pool and a quick path to the ocean."

"We are not "b&b people". This is b&b without the hassle. It's super clean and rooms are spacious and pleasant. The staff is awesome, but give you your space. Complementary breakfast, wine and cheese, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, bicycles, library and game room. Creative, natural landscaping by Carey. Did I mention awesome staff? Beautiful and so relaxing. Beach is across the road. This is our 2nd visit!"
